A large group of residents from Lhaviyani Naifaru has travelled to Malé City to attend the People’s National Congress’ “Dhiveheenge Raajje” rally tonight.

Thousands of people from across the country are expected to take part in the rally, and Naifaru residents were warmly welcomed by party officials upon arrival.

Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resources Ahmed Shiyam, who is from Naifaru, said around 500 people from the island had travelled to join the event. He said their participation reflects the strong support for the positive changes being brought to Naifaru and the wider Maldives under the leadership of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.

Several attendees from Naifaru said it was an honour and a privilege to join a major rally attended by President Dr Muizzu.
