Crowds have begun gathering at the Artificial Beach area ahead of tonight’s People’s National Congress (PNC) “Dhiveheenge Raajje” rally.

A large number of supporters from across the Maldives have travelled to Malé City over the past three days to attend the rally. Many arrived on Wednesday, Thursday and throughout today, and PNC organised several activities across the capital to welcome them. The party deployed dedicated teams to receive supporters arriving by sea and air, and multiple events were held near the party headquarters.

PNC has also arranged various services and facilities for visitors during their stay in Malé, marking one of the most extensive preparations ever carried out for a political rally in the capital.

As the rally approaches, the crowd at Artificial Beach continues to grow, and the area is expected to reach full capacity by the start of the event. PNC has described the gathering as one of the largest and most energetic political rallies in the country.

The highlight of the rally will be President and PNC Leader Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s speech, in which he is expected to outline key achievements from the past two years and upcoming Government initiatives.
