A high-level delegation from Saudi Arabia has arrived in the Maldives to attend the country’s second Hajj and Umrah Conference, set to take place on the 11th of this month.
The delegation is led by Bandar bin Abdullah Al-Rajhi, Chairman of the Al-Safwa Foundation in Saudi Arabia, and includes several senior officials from the organisation.
During their visit, Chairman Al-Rajhi will hold an official meeting with the Minister of Islamic Affairs and meet members of the Supreme Council for Islamic Fatwa. He will also visit the National Centre for the Holy Quran, where he is scheduled to meet young preachers (khateebs), Quran memorizers (hafiz), and imams.
The delegation will further hold discussions with Hajj Corporation Limited, and the Al-Safwa Foundation will deliver a special presentation on its initiatives at the upcoming conference.
The Hajj and Umrah Conference, taking place on the 11th of this month, will once again gather companies and organisations that provide Hajj and Umrah services to Maldivian pilgrims.
