Consultant sought for Rasmalé transport master plan

The Ministry of Finance and Planning has announced that it is seeking a qualified consultant to prepare the transport master plan for Ras Malé, including a full feasibility study for the proposed project.
According to the Ministry, the consultancy aims to develop a comprehensive transportation framework for Ras Malé that ensures a safe, reliable and sustainable system both within the island and between the capital and surrounding areas. The plan will outline long-term infrastructure requirements to support mobility in the newly developing urban zone.
Interested applicants are required to submit documentation demonstrating their technical capacity and experience. The consultancy will be awarded through the Quality and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) method in line with the Public Finance Regulation.
The Ministry has published the Expression of Interest (EOI) and Terms of Reference (TOR) on its website, inviting eligible parties to review the scope of work and submission requirements. Shortlisted firms will later be invited to submit detailed proposals.
Additional information about the project and related documents are available ontheir website and EOI submissions may be delivered by email or in person to the Ministry until 02:00 p.m. on 24 December 2025.
