National Social Protection Agency --
A dedicated helpdesk operated by the National Social Protection Agency (NSPA) has been established at oneGov Support in Malé to provide additional guidance to citizens accessing NSPA services through digital platforms.
The NSPA Helpdesk, which has become operational from 13 January, aims to reduce confusion, minimise errors, and make it easier for applicants to navigate social protection services available via the oneGov platform.
Located on the ground floor of the Henveiru Ferry Terminal on Boduthakurufaanu Magu, the helpdesk will operate from Sunday to Thursday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., excluding public holidays.
The service offers guidance on a wide range of NSPA programmes, including information on where and how to submit applications, how to check application status updates, and assistance with general service-related queries.
Citizens can also receive support with applications, document submissions, and status updates for key assistance schemes, including the Disability Registry and Allowance, Single Parent Allowance, Foster Parent Allowance, Food Assistance, Therapeutic Services Assistance, Thalassaemia Assistance, and IVF Treatment Assistance.
The initiative complements the continued digital delivery of NSPA services through oneGov, ensuring that individuals who require in-person support have access to clear guidance and timely assistance.
