Haa Dhaalu Naivaadhoo clinched the championship title at the HD Hyundai Golden Futsal Challenge 2026 with a commanding 9–3 victory over Gaafu Alifu Dhevvadhoo in the final held at the Rehendhi Futsal Ground in Hulhumalé.

Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef attended the final match and closing ceremony. Prior to kick-off, he met with players from both finalist teams and extended his encouragement.

Following Naivaadhoo’s decisive win, the Vice President presented the champions with the trophy, medals and prize money. He also crowned the King of the Tournament and presented awards to standout players and teams who contributed to the success of the competition.

Launched in 2016, the Golden Futsal Challenge has developed into a nationwide open tournament involving all inhabited islands of the Maldives, with the primary aim of fostering unity through sport.
