President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has participated in a door-to-door campaign conducted by the People's National Congress (PNC) in West Henveiru, as campaigning continues for the upcoming Local Council and Women’s Development Committee (WDC) elections.

During Monday’s campaign activity, President Dr Muizzu visited several homes in the West Henveiru area, meeting residents and listening to their concerns and suggestions. Residents welcomed the President warmly, engaging with him directly and sharing issues affecting their daily lives.

PNC candidates, Government ministers, heads of State-owned enterprises and Members of Parliament also took part in the campaign alongside the President.

President Dr Muizzu has consistently maintained a practice of meeting residents face-to-face. Prior to his election as President in 2023, he regularly visited neighbourhoods across Malé City while serving as Mayor, meeting members of the public and addressing community concerns. Since assuming office, he has travelled to islands nationwide and continued visiting Malé City’s neighbourhoods to engage with residents and assess their needs.

As the Council Elections approach, PNC has intensified organised campaign activities across the country. President Dr Muizzu, in his capacity as party leader, has urged candidates to work closely with residents, respond attentively to their concerns and strengthen public support through direct engagement.
