President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has received a warm welcome from residents during a visit to the Central Maafannu constituency as part of campaign activities for the upcoming Local Council elections.

The visit took place during a door-to-door campaign conducted by the People’s National Congress (PNC) in support of its candidates contesting seats in the Malé City Council and the Women’s Development Committee.

During the visit, President Dr Muizzu met with families in the constituency, spending time with residents and listening to their concerns. He engaged in discussions with members of the public, inquiring about their living conditions and gathering their views on issues affecting the area.

A large number of residents gathered to greet the President upon his arrival. He exchanged greetings with those present and provided an opportunity for members of the public to share their thoughts and concerns directly.

While serving as Mayor of Malé City, President Dr Muizzu visited households across the capital to assess the concerns of residents. Since assuming office as President, he has continued to engage with citizens through various initiatives designed to gather public feedback and remain connected with community issues.
