People’s Majlis has opened the opportunity for public complaints regarding the nominees proposed by the President for appointment to the Board of the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA).

Public feedback will be accepted until 6:00 PM on December 11, 2024, with complaints and comments to be submitted via email to the Parliament’s Economic Committee.

These nominations follow the expiration of Deputy Tax Commissioner Asma Shafeeus’ term, with the position officially opened for applications in November.

Four individuals have been nominated by the President for the role: Dhaha Shuaib, Abdulla Imran, Mahzooom Saleem, and Aminath Aafia.
