First Lady Sajidha Mohamed has inaugurated the People’s National Congress (PNC) campaign office for the Central Hulhumalé constituency ahead of the upcoming Local Council and Women’s Development Committee (WDC) elections.

The campaign office was officially opened during a ceremony held in Hulhumalé on 10 March.

The event was attended by the party’s parliamentary group leader and campaign manager Ibrahim Falah, along with several senior members of the party’s leadership.

PNC’s Malé City mayoral candidate Major (Rtd) Moosa Ali Jaleel and the party’s candidate for President of the Malé area Women’s Development Committee, Ashiyath Alaika Adnan, were also present at the ceremony, along with candidates representing the Central Hulhumalé constituency.

The People’s National Congress is fielding the highest number of candidates in the Local Council elections scheduled for April 4, and has been actively campaigning across the country, particularly in the Greater Malé region.

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has also been participating in campaign activities in Malé City, including door-to-door visits, as part of efforts to support the party’s candidates ahead of the polls.
