President Dr Mohamed Muizzu visited the Central Mahchangolhi constituency in Malé City on Wednesday as part of the second round of door-to-door campaign activities ahead of the April 4 elections.

The April 4 polls will include three votes: the Local Council elections, the Women’s Development Committee (WDC) elections, and a public referendum on holding presidential and parliamentary elections concurrently.

President Dr Muizzu began joining PNC's door-to-door campaigns on 19 February and has since participated in similar activities across all constituencies in the Greater Malé area, including Malé City, Villimalé and Hulhumalé.

During Wednesday’s campaign in Central Mahchangolhi, the President visited numerous households and met residents along the streets, engaging with members of the public.

He also listened to concerns raised by residents and discussed issues highlighted by the community.

The President was accompanied by Malé City mayoral candidate Major General (Retired) Moosa Ali Jaleel and WDC President candidate Uz Ashiyath Alaika Adhnan. Several cabinet ministers, senior party officials and party members also took part in the campaign.
