President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has taken part in a door-to-door campaign in the South Henveiru constituency as part of ongoing activities ahead of the Local Council and Women’s Development Committee (WDC) elections.

The visit marks the 22nd campaign engagement attended by the President, who has previously participated in similar activities across 17 constituencies in the Greater Malé Region. The campaign forms part of the ruling People’s National Congress (PNC) efforts leading up to the polls scheduled for 4 April.

During the visit, the President was accompanied by South Henveiru MP Hussain Imran Latheef, Malé City mayoral candidate Major (Rtd) Moosa Ali Jaleel, and Malé area WDC candidate Uza Ashiyath Alaika Adnan, along with other party representatives.

The President visited households in the constituency, interacted with residents and listened to concerns raised by members of the public. The campaign is part of wider efforts by the PNC to engage voters and mobilise support across the capital ahead of the upcoming elections.
