First Lady Sajidha Mohamed has participated in People’s National Congress (PNC) door-to-door campaign activities in Addu City during her ongoing visit.

She arrived in Addu City on Tuesday night and has since been engaging in campaign activities in support of PNC candidates. As part of these efforts, she carried out a door-to-door visit in Hithadhoo on Wednesday.

The First Lady also took part in a door-to-door campaign in Maradhoo-Feydhoo.

During the visit, the First Lady met residents in several households, interacting with members of the public and listening to their concerns. She also greeted people she encountered along the streets during the campaign.

On Tuesday evening, she attended a barbecue event organised by PNC supporters, where she met with candidates and campaign teams to discuss ongoing activities.

Prior to visiting Addu City, the First Lady also travelled to Fuvahmulah City and Thinadhoo City, where she took part in similar campaign efforts.

She received a warm welcome from residents in all three cities, with large numbers gathering to greet her.

The campaign comes ahead of the April 4 polls, which will include Local Council and Women’s Development Committee elections, along with a public referendum on holding presidential and parliamentary elections concurrently.
