MTCC to upgrade Himmafushi and Kan’doodhoo health centres

MTCC has been contracted to construct extension buildings at Kaafu Himmafushi and Thaa Kan’doodhoo health centres.
The agreements were signed at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Health on Wednesday. State Minister of Health Ismail Shareef signed on behalf of the Government, while MTCC Deputy Managing Director Ahmed Shareef signed on behalf of the company.
As part of the Himmafushi Health Centre project, a new 5,767-square-foot building will be constructed to expand healthcare services on the island. The project is valued at MVR 11.24 million and is scheduled for completion within 360 days.
The Kan’doodhoo Health Centre project will see the development of a facility capable of accommodating 21 beds, along with the construction of two additional buildings for staff accommodation.
Valued at MVR 22.66 million, the project is expected to be completed within 390 days.
