President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed will depart to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday, 6 April, to perform the Umrah pilgrimage.

The President’s Office said that all hospitality and expenses for the visit will be borne by the Government of Saudi Arabia, with arrangements finalised in February 2026.

The President and First Lady travelled last year to Saudi Arabia as well to perform the Hajj pilgrimage as guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
