The People’s National Congress (PNC) secured seven seats in Alifu Alifu Thoddoo in the Local Council and Women’s Development Committee (WDC) elections, including both the council presidency and WDC leadership.

Adam Naveen was elected President of the Thoddoo Council with 604 votes, defeating Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) candidate Hassan Naseef, who received 564 votes. The remaining council seats were won by PNC candidates Mariyam Suzee, Moosa Anil and Ali Rishan.

In the WDC election, Aminath Simla was elected as President with 654 votes, ahead of MDP candidate Aminath Azeela, who secured 440 votes. The remaining seats in the committee were won by PNC candidates Aminath Ifna, Nabeela Adam and Hawwa Maleesa.
