First Lady Sajidha Mohamed has underscored the importance of science and evidence-based solutions in shaping healthier societies in a message marking World Health Day. In a post on X, she highlighted that scientific approaches play a critical role in protecting communities and improving overall well-being.

She noted that health is closely linked to the environment, stressing that challenges such as climate change, antimicrobial resistance and emerging diseases require coordinated global action across sectors. The First Lady also called for continued investment in research, knowledge advancement and healthier lifestyles, emphasising the need for collective efforts to build a healthier and more prosperous future.
