The National Pay Commission has stated that efforts are ongoing to address challenges faced by institutions that have transitioned to the Government’s National Pay Framework.
Under the National Pay Policy Act, employees in the civil service and the judiciary were brought under the framework on 1 November 2025. Since then, an additional six Government institutions have completed the transition, bringing the total number of institutions operating under the system to 93.
The Commission said that issues and concerns identified by institutions following the transition are currently being reviewed, with steps being taken to resolve them. It added that work to address these matters is continuing without interruption.
This process includes reviewing complaints submitted to the Commission and consulting with relevant authorities to identify practical solutions.
Efforts are also underway to transition the remaining institutions to the framework. The Commission noted that the necessary technical preparations for the rollout are currently in progress, with the aim of completing implementation across all Government institutions.
Meanwhile, Moosa Zameer, Minister of Finance and Public Enterprises, stated earlier this week that 93 per cent of State employees have now been transitioned to the National Pay Framework.
