Maldives Police Service has reported three separate incidents of violence in Malé yesterday. 

According to a statement shared with the media, these incidents occurred in different parts of the city and were reported to the police late last night.

The first incident involved a group of men wearing helmets who entered De Public Cafe and caused disturbances, followed by six individuals being assaulted with sharp-edged weapons near Kinza cafe’. The violence continued with further disruptions reported outside Noor Masjid.

In addition to these incidents, the police also noted a separate event on December 11, where a group of individuals was said to have stormed the Let's Go Cafe.

The police have not provided further details on these cases but confirmed that all four incidents are currently under investigation.
