President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed visited the Colombo National Museum on Tuesdat as part of cultural engagements during the ongoing State Visit to Sri Lanka.

They were received by museum officials and taken on a guided tour of the galleries, which present Sri Lanka’s history and heritage through a range of artefacts and exhibits.

During the visit, President Dr Muizzu signed the Visitors’ Book, noting the importance of preserving national heritage. The First Lady also signed the book, reflecting on the insight the exhibits provided into the country’s traditions and cultural identity.

The President and First Lady are currently undertaking their first State Visit to Sri Lanka.
