Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef has made his financial declaration public, disclosing details of his income, bank balances and liabilities.

The financial declaration has been published on the President’s Office website and covers the past six months, stating the Vice President received MVR 314,664.07 in income during the reporting period.

The declaration states that his spouse did not receive any income during the same period.

It also notes that the Vice President has no declared assets or business interests.

Details of his bank balances were included in the declaration. He holds MVR 8,390 in an account at the Bank of Maldives. He also has MVR 39 in one account at Maldives Islamic Bank and USD 397 in another account at the same bank.

The declaration further states that the Vice President has no loans or other outstanding liabilities.
