The 2025 Inter-School Table Tennis Tournament has officially commenced, drawing a total of 143 student athletes from 16 schools across the Malé region.

The competition is taking place at the Malé Table Tennis Hall in Henveiru Muni Ufaa and will run from May 14 to 19.

This year’s tournament features 65 female and 78 male participants, with an impressive 685 matches scheduled throughout the event. According to the Table Tennis Association of Maldives (TTAM), interest in the tournament has been overwhelming.

Competitors are divided into four age categories: Under-13, Under-16, Under-17, and Under-19.

The tournament is jointly organised by the Ministry of Sports, the Ministry of Education, and TTAM.
