The criminal Court has ordered an additional twenty days for the remand of Raudh Ahmed Zilal. 

Raudh Ahmed Zilal, 21, was arrested on April 24 in connection with the case of a young woman found unconscious on the rooftop of a residential building in Malé.

Raudh’s remand has been extended twice since then. The Criminal Court has ordered an additional 20 days for Raudh’s remand. 

While the Police are still investigating this case, they have seized seven mobile phones under court order and searched two properties. Authorities have also imposed travel bans on these seven individuals, including Raudh and the woman who was found on the roof. 

The woman who was critically injured in this case is now receiving medical treatment abroad.
