President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has departed for the United Kingdom to participate in the High-level Briefing on Private Capital Mobilisation, at the invitation of His Majesty King Charles III. The event is organised by the Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI) and brings together key global financial and development leaders.

The briefing will convene Heads of Multilateral Development Banks and senior figures from major financial institutions. Discussions will centre on mobilising private capital to accelerate sustainable development and advance global climate transitions, with an emphasis on reinforcing international cooperation.

The Sustainable Markets Initiative, founded under the vision and leadership of His Majesty King Charles III, seeks to catalyse private-sector action on sustainability. It brings together CEOs and international decision-makers to place sustainability at the core of economic activity. The Initiative aims to steer the private sector towards long-term, environmentally responsible growth aligned with national climate goals and the 1.5°C pathway.
