Deadline set for 30 June 2026.

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Fitness, has opened applications for the HDC Apprenticeship Programme 2026.

The programme is open to Maldivian nationals between the ages of 18 and 35. Applications can now be submitted online, with the deadline set for 30 June 2026.

HDC’s apprenticeship programme is held annually as part of its ongoing efforts to develop a skilled workforce and prepare young people for employment.

This year's programme offers training in three fields: Health and Safety in Construction, Computer Hardware and Networking, and Surveying Technician. Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive a Level 3 qualification in their chosen field.

The six-month programme is scheduled to begin in August. Each participant will receive a monthly allowance of MVR 6,000 throughout the training period.

HDC stated that it remains committed to providing practical training opportunities through skilled professionals across different sectors, while helping young people gain the knowledge and experience needed to enter the workforce.
