A Chinese expert team arrived on November 3, 2024, to conduct a feasibility study for the redevelopment of roads in Malé and Villimalé, a project funded by China-Aid. An introductory session was held today with Minister of State Ibrahim Thoaam Mohamed and the ministry's technical team to kickstart the initiative. The team will carry out stakeholder consultations, site surveys, and data collection until November 21, forming the basis for the project’s design and planning.
