Business Registration Call Centre records 99% call response rate in June

The Business Registration Call Centre answered more than 99 per cent of calls received during the first half of June, according to statistics released by the Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade.

The ministry said the centre handled more than 1,500 calls between 1 and 15 June, providing information and assistance on business registration, business records, special permits and other business-related services. During the same period, average call waiting time was reduced to two minutes following measures introduced to improve service delivery.

The ministry also reported that its Transport Call Centre handled more than 2,000 calls over the same period, with an average response rate of 82 per cent. The service provides information and assistance on matters including vehicle registration and driving licences.
