Bank of Maldives (BML), in partnership with Mastercard, has launched a promotion offering customers the chance to win a share of MVR 100,000 in cash prizes.

The promotion runs from 6 July to 31 August 2026 and is open to customers who apply for a new BML Mastercard debit card during the campaign period.

To enter the draw, customers must make a minimum purchase of MVR 200 using their Mastercard through BML Point of Sale (POS) terminals or the BML Payment Gateway. Customers can earn additional entries by spending MVR 1,000 within a week or MVR 5,000 within a month. At the end of the promotion, 10 winners will each receive MVR 10,000, with the prize money to be credited directly to their BML accounts.

BML said the Mastercard debit card can be used for payments and cash withdrawals. Cardholders can withdraw up to MVR 25,000 per day from Maldivian Rufiyaa accounts and up to USD 1,600 per day from US Dollar accounts.

BML is the principal member of Mastercard in the Maldives and issues Mastercard debit, credit and prepaid cards.
