Registration for this year's Dhiveheenge Ufehdhuntherikamuge Maurazu will remain open until the end of August, with the Business Center Corporation (BCC) urging interested participants to register early.
BCC said applications to participate in the expo will close on 31 August. The corporation added that more than 300 applicants have already registered to take part in the event.
The corporation noted that 240 participants took part in the 2025 expo, meaning this year's event has already attracted a significantly higher number of registrations.
BCC described the expo as a major platform for showcasing the talent and capabilities of Maldivian creators, encouraging interested participants to complete their registration as early as possible.
This year's expo will feature 73 categories across 16 sectors, showcasing a wide range of products and services. Participation is open to Maldivian individuals aged 13 and above, businesses, State-owned enterprises, educational institutions, councils, and persons with disabilities under a dedicated category.
Highlighting that 2026 has been designated the National Year of Creativity by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, BCC said this year's expo is intended to become the leading platform for creators to showcase and market their products and services.
To simplify the registration process, BCC has introduced a dedicated online portal. All registration procedures can be completed through the expo.mv portal.
The Dhiveheenge Ufehdhuntherikamuge Maurazu 2026 is organised jointly by BCC and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to provide Maldivian creators with opportunities to market their products and services. This year's expo will be held from 23 to 31 October.
