President Dr Mohamed Muizzu presented the nation’s highest academic honours to top-performing students at the fifth session of the High Achievers’ Award 2025 ceremony held on Sunday evening at the Centre for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in Hulhumalé.

The President conferred awards on students who achieved the highest marks nationwide in individual subjects in the secondary and higher secondary examinations. Honours were also presented to recipients of the High Achievement Award for secondary education, the Outstanding Pearson Learner Award, the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award, and the High Achievers’ Scholarship.

The President was welcomed with an honour guard upon his arrival, and students presented him with a commemorative gift.

The Government continues to prioritise improving access to quality education and higher learning as part of its long-term vision to develop a generation of academically and technically skilled young people.
