Minister of Climate Change, Environment and Energy Ali Shareef and senior officials of the ministry have met with a delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to discuss ongoing cooperation in the waste management and energy sectors. The ADB delegation was led by Sona Shrestha, Director General of the ADB's South Asia Department.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed their continued collaboration on projects in the waste management and energy sectors and explored ways to further strengthen the partnership. The ministry said the discussions reaffirmed the shared commitment of the Government and ADB to advancing sustainable and climate-resilient development in the Maldives through continued cooperation.
