The President's Office has opened registration for residents of four additional parliamentary constituencies to participate in the next round of the Rayyithunge Adu initiative, through which members of the public can meet President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and raise issues directly.
The latest round is open to residents of Maafannu South, Inguraidhoo, Kelaa and Fuvahmulah South constituencies, expanding the programme beyond the first four constituencies announced earlier. The initiative is being rolled out across all 93 parliamentary constituencies in the Maldives.
Those wishing to participate must register through the dedicated Rayyithunge Adu portal on the President's Office website before 12:00 a.m. on Monday. The website also provides the programme's guidelines and participation requirements.
President Dr Muizzu announced the initiative during an appearance on Nation Chat, saying it is intended to provide people across the country with an opportunity to meet him directly, share their concerns, ideas and suggestions, and strengthen engagement between the Government and the public.
Since taking office, President Dr Muizzu has visited every inhabited island in the Maldives and met with local councils as part of his engagements with communities nationwide.
