Maldives Post has launched its PickPost service at the Kulhudhuffushi City Post Office, introducing a new parcel collection system aimed at making postal services more convenient for customers.

The company also relocated the Kulhudhuffushi City Post Office to the first and second floors of Seena Building on Bandaaramagu. Maldives Post said the new location and the introduction of PickPost will make it easier for customers to post mail, collect parcels, and access other postal services.

With the new service, customers will no longer need to queue to collect parcels. Instead, they can pick up their parcels at any convenient time within the collection period specified in the notification message sent by Maldives Post.

The post office said customers will continue to have access to domestic and international postal services through the Kulhudhuffushi City Post Office, including sending parcels to islands and cities across the Maldives as well as overseas destinations.

In addition, local entrepreneurs will be able to use the Rashu Online Fihaara and Community Online Shop platforms to sell their products. Maldives Post said it will also provide logistics and delivery services through its postal network for purchases made within the Maldives and from overseas.

The company said the initiative aims to strengthen its operational infrastructure, modernise postal services and bring them closer to the public, while further expanding its role as a leading trade facilitator.
