The Ministry of Social and Family Development has conducted the Ufaavehi – Konme Kujjakah Aailaaeh programme in Raa Atoll Meedhoo and Hulhudhuffaaru.

This Government initiative aims to ensure that every child grows up in a loving and supportive family environment.

During the sessions, participants received valuable information about the programme, including details about the fostering system, the procedures involved, and the importance of raising children in a nurturing family setting.

Additionally, the Ministry also carried out its Haalu Kihineh? programme during their visit to Raa Atoll. This programme focuses on identifying vulnerable individuals living in critical conditions and providing them with the necessary support and resources to improve their well-being.
