Major (Rtd) Mohamed Najah has been appointed to the Board of Directors and as Managing Director of Fenaka Corporation Limited.

A long-serving military veteran, Najah of Henveiru Yellow Rose 2, holds advanced qualifications in Logistics Management.

The appointment, made by the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB), coincides with the resignation of the previous Managing Director, Mohamed Muaz Rasheed.

Through a post on X, Muaz shared his resignation letter to President Dr Mohamed Muizzu. In the letter, he detailed the operational difficulties facing Fenaka, explaining that the organisation's financial constraints prevent it from maintaining sustainable operations through revenue streams alone, while raising concerns about the continuity of vital utility services throughout the Maldives.
