The Ministry of Social and Family Development have met with the Raa Atoll Council, Ungoofaaru Council, and the Women's Development Committee to plan the introduction of the ‘Haalu Kihineh?’ programme in Ungoofaaru.

During the meeting, representatives from the ministry provided an overview of its current activities and operational structure. This briefing was aimed at fostering a better understanding of the ministry’s efforts and encouraging collaborative approaches to social welfare.

Discussions centred on the vital role councils can play in promoting community welfare and the importance of coordinated efforts between local authorities and the ministry. Specific emphasis was placed on how councils can actively support families identified through the ‘Haalu Kihineh?’ programme at the community level.
