The Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced the recipients of BML Scholarship Fund for 2024.
The recipients, Reesham Mohamed, Noorhaan Mohamed Moosa, and Aishath Shara Naseer, will have the opportunity to pursue undergraduate degrees in banking and finance-related fields at top 200 universities worldwide.
The BML Scholarship Fund is a fully funded, merit-based programme that covers tuition fees, a monthly stipend, visa fees, book and establishment allowances, and air tickets.
Since its launch in 2022, three students are selected annually for the scholarship, and six students are currently studying abroad as part of the programme.
The scholarship is open to three Maldivian citizens aged 18 to 25 each year, who have completed their A-levels with passes in all subjects. Applicants must choose an undergraduate degree in banking and finance from one of the top 200 universities listed in the Times Higher Education University Rankings. Additionally, applicants must not be receiving any other scholarship during their studies.
