Criminal Court has sentenced a man to 27 days in prison for breaking the window panes of a shop in Male’ City.

The defendant, charged with property damage, initially pleaded not guilty but later entered into a confessional agreement with the State. The Court, presided over by Judge Ali Nadeem, accepted the agreement, leading to the conviction.

Under the terms of the agreement, the man was sentenced to 27 days in prison, of which he is required to serve 17 days.
