The Cricket Board of Maldives (CBM) has approved its budget for 2025, allocating MVR 7.39 million towards initiatives aimed at fostering youth cricket and cricket development.

The decision was made during a board meeting held on December 26, 2024, with members agreeing on the financial plan ahead of the new calendar year.

This move aligns with recent constitutional amendments mandating that budgets must be ratified before the start of each year.

The budget approval highlights a proactive approach by the board to prioritise long-term development, fostering future generations of Maldivian cricketers.
