President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has launched the Bank of Maldives (BML) project to expand ATM services to all inhabited islands, with the first new machine unveiled in Omadhoo. The project, which aims to install over 250 ATMs nationwide by the end of 2025, ensures greater banking access for all Maldivians. The initiative is part of the President’s commitment to improving financial accessibility throughout the country.
