President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended his condolences following the passing of Husna Moosa, wife of Ibrahim Hussain Zaki, who holds the prestigious Order of Distinguished Rule of Izzuddin (ODRI). 

Through his official X account, the President offered prayers for Husna's eternal paradise.

Husna, who departed at the age of 78, leaves behind a legacy of kindness and gentility that touched many lives. Her funeral prayer service is scheduled to take place at the Islamic Centre after today's Friday prayers.

Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef expressed his shock and profound sadness at the news, offering prayers for the family's strength during this difficult time.

Former President Mohamed Nasheed also paid tribute to Husna's memory, highlighting her valuable contributions to the reform movement and her well-known generosity. He remembered her as a gentle soul whose pleasant disposition and kindness left an indelible mark on those who knew her.
