The National Centre for Information Technology (NCIT) has announced the recruitment of a Digital Services Specialist, a key role in advancing the Government’s digital agenda.
This position is crucial for ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives outlined in the National Resilience and Recovery Plan (NRRP).
Offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from MVR 25,300 to MVR 36,000, the final remuneration will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
The Digital Services Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the NCIT’s digital development action plan, which is being implemented under the Ministry of Homeland Security and Technology. A primary focus will be ensuring that this action plan aligns seamlessly with the objectives of the NRRP.
As part of this role, the specialist will establish and manage a Project Management Unit (PMU). This unit will operate under the direct guidance of Minister Ali Ihusaan and report to him on progress and developments.
Additionally, the specialist will ensure that all initiatives are executed in strict adherence to established best practices and recommended guidelines.
The responsibilities extend further to playing a vital role in the design, implementation, and operational arrangements of Government Digital Services (GDS). A commitment to delivering high-quality work is essential, as is supporting the Ministry of Homeland Security and Technology in achieving its digital transformation goals.
Applications for this role are open until January 20. Candidates with relevant experience and educational qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply.
