Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Abdulla Khaleel met with India's External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in New Delhi, resulting in the signing of an agreement for the next phase of High Impact Community Development Projects (HICDP) in Maldives.
During the consultations, the ministers discussed development cooperation, economic ties, security, fintech and people-to-people relationships. Minister Jaishankar reaffirmed India's commitment as a steadfast supporter of Maldives' progress, in line with India's Neighbourhood First policy and vision SAGAR.
