Fayaz Mansoor has officially begun his tenure as the Deputy Managing Director of the Housing Development Corporation (HDC).

Following his appointment on December 26, 2024, his first day in office commenced on January 5, 2025, after the New Year holidays.

Fayaz brings extensive experience to his new role, having been part of HDC for many years, including during the early stages of Hulhumalé's reclamation project.

Prior to his appointment, he served as a Director at Gedor Consulting, an architectural and design firm.

Fayaz holds a bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying and a master's degree in Building Science from Victoria University, New Zealand.
