A search operation is underway after a man fell into the sea from a safari near Alifu Dhaalu Mirihi Island Resort.
Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) reported receiving information about the incident, which occurred on the "North 07" safari. The Male' Area Coast Guard Second Squadron, along with a team of divers, has been dispatched to the location to assist in the search efforts.
The missing individual has been identified as Ali Arushad, 35, from Noonu Holhudhoo, Sea Weed. According to the Maldives Police Service, CCTV footage from the safari shows Arushad falling into the water from the vessel's deck.
