The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, has departed for Islamabad, Pakistan, to attend the International Conference on 'Girls' Education in Muslim Communities: Challenges and Opportunities'.

The event, hosted by the Muslim World League (Rabita al-Alamal-Islami), focuses on addressing the challenges and exploring opportunities for advancing education for girls in Islamic societies.

Serving in his dual capacity as the Maldivian representative and Supreme Council Member of the Muslim World League, Minister Shaheem will present a keynote address at the religious session, focusing on crucial educational matters affecting Muslim societies.

The Minister's visit is scheduled to last two days.
