A 58-year-old man, identified as Ahmed Shareef from M. Moon Drops, has passed away after collapsing at a café in Maafannu, Male’, on Monday night.

According to police, Shareef fell unconscious while at the café and was rushed to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for emergency treatment. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his condition while under care at the hospital.

Authorities have not disclosed further details about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
