MMTV has announced the launch of its Quran competition, 'شفاء ورحمة', to mark the holy month of Ramadan, with a total prize pool of MVR 180,000.

The competition will be held virtually, allowing participation from children and adults across the Maldives as well as Maldivians living overseas.

The initiative aims to encourage Quran recitation, promote Tajweed, and foster a deeper appreciation for the Quran among Maldivians. Additionally, it seeks to increase religious awareness and instil a stronger connection to faith.

Participants are required to submit a video recording of their recitation between February 11, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. and February 26, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.
