A new platform aimed at supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the tourism sector, 'Vunaari Forum', has been launched to provide essential skills, legal knowledge, and market expansion opportunities for businesses across the Maldives.

Organised jointly by the Business Centre Corporation (BCC) and the South Ari Atoll Council, the forum is designed to enhance business capabilities through expert-led sessions. Key topics include legal compliance, financial access, entrepreneurship, marketing strategies, tax regulations, and emerging trends in the tourism industry.

The day-long event, held at the Atoll Education Centre in Alif Dhaalu Mahibadhoo, features briefings from the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), Maldives Islamic Bank, Bank of Maldives, and the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA).
