The Ministry of Social and Family Development has officially announced the opening of nominations for the prestigious Rehendi Award 2025.

The awards aim to recognise and honour the contributions of women across various sectors in national service, as well as individuals, institutions, associations and communities working to protect women's rights and advance their status in society.

Applications and nominations for the Rehendi Awards will be accepted from February 18 until May 4, 2025, with a submission deadline of 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.

The eligibility criteria and application forms for all award categories are available for download from the Ministry's official website (www.msfd.gov.mv). Physical copies can also be obtained from the Ministry of Social and Family Development and from Family and Children's Service Centres established throughout the atolls.

Applications may be submitted via email to [email protected] or delivered in person to the Ministry of Social and Family Development counter (Umar Zahir Office Building, Orchid Road, Hulhumalé) on working days between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. throughout the nomination period.
